Drop out of the expensive slabs

KSEB charges more per unit the more you use. Below 250 units a month the slabs are telescopic, and above that one higher rate applies to everything. Your last units are your dearest ones, and solar takes those off first. A home paying ₹3,600 every two months usually ends up paying little beyond the standing charges.

KSEB tariffs have climbed steadily, and KSERC revises them on its own schedule. Once your system is running, the units it makes cost you nothing more for the next twenty-five years, whatever the next tariff order says.

After subsidy, most Kerala homes recover the cost inside five years. The bigger your bill, the quicker it happens. Panels are warranted to hold above 80% of rated output in year twenty-five, so you get another two decades of generation after the system has paid for itself.

Built for salt, damp and lightning

Salt air corrodes ordinary hardware along the whole coast. Humidity stays high all year. Kerala also records some of the highest lightning strike density in the country. Salt-mist certified modules, marine-grade structure and surge protection are in our standard specification at no extra charge.

A 3 kW rooftop system in Kerala displaces roughly 3,000 kg of grid generation annually, about what 150 mature trees absorb in a year. Kerala buys in most of its power and a good deal of that is thermal, so what you make at home reduces what the state has to import.

What we put on your roof, and why
Sunlight becomes DC electricity on the roof. The inverter turns that into the AC your house runs on. Whatever you do not use goes to the battery, or back out to the grid through a meter that counts it and pays you for it.

Inverters

The inverter turns roof DC into the AC your house runs on, and it is the part most likely to fail first. We fit inverters with two MPPT trackers. That counts for more in Kerala than in most places, because few roofs here face one direction cleanly and palm shade moves across the array through the day.

How it works
From first call to first unit, in about six weeks
Most of that window belongs to KSEB. Technical feasibility and the net-meter inspection run on their calendar. We file every form, chase your section office and tell you where things stand at each stage. The work on your roof takes three days.

Day 1
Step 1: Free site survey
An engineer measures your shade-free area, checks whether the roof can carry the array, notes your connected load and reads two years of KSEB bills. We survey the palms across the whole year, because what clears the roof in December can cut across it in June.

Days 2–4
Step 2: Design and proposal
You get a layout drawing, a month-by-month generation estimate with the monsoon dip shown, the make and model of every component, and one price with the subsidy already deducted.

Week 1
Step 3: Registration and KSEB application
We register you on the PM Surya Ghar portal and file the application at your KSEB section office with the connected-load documents. You sign once. We wait in the queue.

Weeks 2–5
Step 4: Approval and installation
Once technical feasibility clears, our crew erects the structure, lays the array, wires the inverter, earthing and surge protection, and commissions the system. Three working days on a typical home. We schedule around the rain.

Weeks 5–7
Step 5: Net meter and inspection
The Electrical Inspectorate signs off and KSEB swaps your meter for a bi-directional one. From that date your export counts against your import. The next bill is the first one that looks different.

Within 30 days
Step 6: Subsidy and handover
We upload the commissioning report and your bank details, then follow the claim until it is paid. You get the monitoring app, the warranty file and five years of maintenance visits.
